Wydad Athletic Club head coach Rulani Mokwena shares his players’ reaction after dropping points against CODM Meknès at home.

After an impressive 5-1 victory over SC Chabab Mohammèdia this past weekend, Wydad players were expecting to win their home clash against CODM.

However, lack of consistency in front of goals on the day led to the home side only coming out of the match with a single point after a goalless draw.
Something that has left the players angry and frustrated, according to former Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena.
Speaking to media during a post-match interview, Mokwena revealed how his players were left upset and disappointed in the dressing room.
“I don’t like the match at all. Maybe the only thing I like about the game is the feeling I see in the changing room,” Mokwena told the media.
“Normally, when I arrived, when we played a draw, the feelings were jovial and happy (but now), the players are very upset and I like it.
“I like the feeling in the changing room after the game, but that 90 minutes, I don’t like.”
Mokwena and his charges are next in action next Friday against league leaders RS Berkane, who are currently 15 points ahead of Wydad after 22 matches.
