Pitso Mosimane is backed for Mamelodi Sundowns return ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
After parting ways with Abha FC at the end of the 2023-2024 season, Mosimane was heavily linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs and North African clubs like Zamalek SC and Wydad Athletic Club.

However, despite the links, Mosimane remains unattached as no clubs have tabled offers for him, which led to Sundowns legend, Roger Feutmba, suggesting that the tactician should return to Chloorkop ahead of the new season.
Talking to Soccer Laduma, Feutmba suggested that the two parties should look for a way forward and reconcile despite their sour relationship that has led to dragging each other to court.
“He has built himself very well with his capabilities and achievements, and he can coach anywhere now, but you have to protect your reputation,” Feutmba told Soccer Laduma.
“What He should do is get involved with a team who are ready for business and have a vision of what they want. He has a vision, and you can see from what he has achieved not only in this country but even in Egypt as well.
“He has to protect that, and I know he can still coach at Sundowns because of his reputation while he was still at the team and what he achieved with the team.
“I know it wasn’t easy from the start even for him, but things have changed, and he won everything with Sundowns. I don’t see any problem of going back there. Let me tell you something!”
