New face spotted in first Kaizer Chiefs training session in Europe, as the club starts preparations for the 2024-2025 season.

After a poor 2023-2024 season, Amakhosi hierarchy was expected to make extreme changes to the club’s first team squad and also the technical team.

The Naturena-based club decided to bring Nasreddine Nabi from AS FAR Rabat as the head coach alongside Fernando Da Cruz(first assistant coach), Khalil Ben Youseff(second assistant), Ilyes Mzoighi(goalkeeper coach), Majdi Safi(strength and sonditioning soach), and Ayman Makroud(performance analyst).
With the announcement imminent, the Tunisian tactician brought in the first signing of his tenure after the club released five players, namely Keagan Dolly, Siyethemba Sithebe, Njabulo Ngcobo, Efmamjjasond Gonzalez, and Sfiso Hlanti with his approval.
He brought Sam from arch-rivals Orlando Pirates to replace the veteran left-back Hlanti, and the former now-defunct Moroka Swallows defender concluded the deal in time to travel to Turkey with the rest of the team.
On Sunday, the 7th of July 2024, the club released video clips and images of the first training session in Europe, and Sam was among the players that reported for the first session.
Meanwhile, a few hours later, Nabi was welcomed officially and met the players for the first time and will take charge of the training sessions going forward.
