Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi is adviced on how to play the club’s new signing Gaston Sirino ahead of the start of 2024-2025 season.
The acquisition of Sirino on a free transfer after he left Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the 2023-2024 season was seen as marquee signing by many in the country.

The 33-year-old is expected to play a huge role in helping the Naturena-based club return its glory days, having gone the last nine seasons without winning a trophy.
However, due to a number of players who have moved to Chiefs from Sundowns in the recent history failing to live up to expectations, former Chiefs and Sundowns striker Edward Manqele has adviced Nabi on how to get the best of Sirino.
“They should just give him the chance and opportunity to do what he does best, Mandela told Soccer Laduma.
“If they can play him in his favourite position as a number 10 behind the strikers, then they will benefit from him.
“He should be given the freedom to play his game and enjoy it, and then they will also enjoy his services. He still has what it takes. You saw everything, how he played at Sundowns.”
