The victory sees Sundowns Ladies open an eight point gap between themselves and UJ FC in second with 47 points after 18 games, having won 15 matches, drawn two, and lost one.

The incident just inside Richmond’s penalty box left the Sundowns star with a broken leg, as reported by football photographer Vino Snap.
The Sundowns star is expected to miss the remainder of the season, as her career-threatening injury is set to take more than six months to heal.
