Mamelodi Sundowns is said to have snapped up Sekhukhune United tactical mastermind ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
The departure of Rulani Mokwena, alongside several technical team members including Dayle Solomon and Sibusiso Mahlangu at the end of the 2023-2024 season, left the Brazilians with unfilled positions in the first team’s technical team.

Mokwena’s departure saw Manqoba Mngqithi handed the head coach role while Steve Komphela returned to the club from Golden Arrows to take over Mngqithi’s previous role as the senior coach and former AmaZulu FC head coach Romain Folz joined as the assistant coach.
However, the club appears to have added another technical team member, according to FarPost.
The publication reports that top South African analyst Tinashe Shingai Mukandatsama is on the verge of joining the Brazilians after he was spotted at Chloorkop yesterday.
“He was seen at Sundowns’ headquarters on Friday afternoon, signaling an imminent move to the defending Betway Premiership champions,” FarPost reports.
“His departure comes as Sundowns seek to fill the void left by the exit of several key technical team members. Following the exit of head coach Rulani Mokwena, performance analysts Sibusiso Makitla and Dayle Solomons both left the club. Strength and conditioning coach Sibusiso Mahlangu also followed.”
