This led to the club hiring Tunisian tactician Nasreddine alongside his technical team made up of Fernando Da Cruz(assistant coach), Khalil Ben Youssef (assistant coach), Ilyes Mzoughi (goalkeeper coach), and Majdi Safi (strength and condition coach).

Ayman Makroud was supposed to be part of the technical team as a performance analyst but went against joining Chiefs and will now a club in the Gulf region.

However, despite the setback, Amakhosi hierarchy has vouched to back Nabi and his technical team to help them bring back the glory days at Naturena.

Having completed the signing of Orlando Pirates left fullback, Bongani Sam, Naturena based club is said to be set to land two more players this week, according to one of Africa’s leading journalists, Micky Jnr.

“Kaizer Chiefs are closing in on the signing of two new players this week,” Micky said on X.

Despite the players being unknown at this time, Micky revealed their positions, with one being a highly rated middlefielder in the continent.

“Agreement is at an advanced stage. One highly rated midfielder and a defender,” he concluded.
