His departure from Sundowns opened a chain of speculations surrounding his future within the South African football fraternity, as clubs like Chiefs, Pirates, and his former club Bolivar FC said to be interested in his signature.
With the 33-year-old’s having no intention of going to play back in his native continent of South America, the player has offered his services to both Pirates and Chiefs ahead of next season, according to SABC Sports.
But the Soweto giants are yet to reply to Uruguayan’s offer and are currently in Europe for 2024-2025 pre-season, with Chiefs in Turkey and Pirates in Spain for the second year in a row.
“As things stand, both Chiefs and Pirates have not indicated whether they are declining the offer to snap up the free agent, however, Sirino’s priority remains finding a club in the DStv Premiership this season before considering options abroad,” SABC Sports reported.
