Kaizer Chiefs’ new signing Fiacre Ntwari is set to train with the club’s development side while his new teammates continue 2024-2025 pre-season in Turkey.
The Rwandan international joined Amakhosi last week from TS Galaxy FC on a four-year deal with an option for a further year, and was expected to join his new teammates in Turkey to start his life at the club.

However, the 24-year-old will have to wait a little longer before meeting his new teammates, as his visa issues see his trip to Instabul being cancelled.
Turkish visa for a Rwandan citizen takes about 15 working days to be issued, and by the time Ntwari gets his visa, Chiefs will be less than a week from returning home as reported by Farpost.
“The standard processing time for Turkey visa applications submitted by Rwandan nationals is 15 working days,” the publication reported.
“An expedited processing service may be available, reducing the processing time to five working days.
“It’s estimated that his visa won’t be ready until the end of the week, with a possible collection on Friday. While he could travel over the weekend, the team’s imminent return on Wednesday makes the trip to Turkey impractical.”
The publication further went on to report that the shot-stopper will train with the club’s development side to keep fit while waiting for his teammates to return from Europe.
