Bafana Bafana star signs a new long-term deal at Mamelodi Sundowns after rejecting the initial contract extension offer.
Grant Kekana has been in talks with the club over a new deal for over a year, as the two parties struggled to reach an agreement over a new deal.

However, after over a year of back and forth over a new deal, the two parties are said to have reached an agreement over a new deal, according to SABC Sport.
“According to information gathered by the public broadcaster, the two parties have since agreed a deal over a long-term contract with an announcement to be made by Downs at a later stage,” the public broadcaster states.
Kekana, who joined Masandawana from SuperSport United back in July in 2021, joins his former Matsatsantsa a Pitori teammates Ronwen Williams and Teboho Mokoena in committing their futures to the Chloorkop-based club.

Williams and Mokoena committed their futures to the club until the year 2028 and 2029, respectively, while the club’s captain Themba Zwane also penned a one extension.
