Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Olisa Ndah during Orlando Pirates’ training session at Orlando Stadium on Friday, the 1st of August 2025.

Having only played nine games for the club last season due to tibia fracture, Olisa Ndah appears to be back just less than a year after suffering the injury.

The 27-year-old was among the Pirates players who took part in a full training session yesterday at Orlando Stadium to prepare for an MTN8 quarterfinal match against Rise and Shine.

Meanwhile, his fellow central defender, Thabiso Sesane, still continues to be sidelined through a foot injury he suffered towards the end of the season.

The Pirates development graduate was among the one of the standout defenders in the country last season alongside Nkosinathi Sibisi and Mbekezeli Mbokazi.

Pirates will look to start the defence of the title they have won four times in a row with a victory.

The Sea Robbers welcome the Polokwane-based club at Orlando Stadium this afternoon wi a h kick-off of the match set for 3 pm Central African Time.

The other quarters see Sekhukhune United take on TS Galaxy, Mamelodi Sundowns welcome Richards Bay, and Stellenbosch FC battles AmaZulu FC.
