Wydad Athletic Club head coach Rulani Mokwena is set to hold talks with the club’s hierarchy to discuss his future at the club.

Heading into their Botola Pro Inwi match against Ittihad Tanger, the club’s hierarchy led by president, Hicham Ait Menna backed the 38-year-old to continue with the job until at least after the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
However, after Mokwena’s men played to their fourth consecutive draw against Ittihad Tanger, the club’s management is set to hold talks with the tactician.

According to reports in Morroco, the club’s hierarchy are not happy with the club’s recent results, as the four draws in a row see them out of place to qualify for CAF Champions League next season.
The meeting that is expected to be held this international break is reported to can also decide the future of the former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns tactician.
But Mokwena is also open to leaving the club should the hierarchy decide he is not the man to lead them going forward.
