Yesterday, one of the leading publications in South Africa, Idiski Times, revealed that the Chiefs development graduate has been suspended after missing a handful of training sessions this pre-season.

According to our sources close to both the player and club, the 26-year-old deliberately missed the training sessions, as he is trying to force a move away from the club.
An unknown Betway Premiership club is said to have offered Castric an offer for the middlefielder, which was turned down, as he is seen as a valuable part of their promotion aspirations.
The South African junior international was inspirational in the club’s seventh place finish last season, missing out on promotion playoffs with just a mere four points.
