Having been at the club for more than a month already assessing the squad the club has, Nabi is said to be ready to add players to the club’s squad ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
One of the players, the Tunisian tactician, has identified to add to his squad ahead of the new season is the African star, Fiston Mayele, who is currently playing for Egyptian Premier Soccer League club, Pyramids FC.
According to one of the leading journalists in African football fraternity, Micky Jnr, the 30-year-old attacker, has agreed to join Nabi at Chiefs ahead of the new season.
“DR Congo striker Fiston Mayele has agreed to play for Nabi ahead of the 2024/25 season,” Micky Jnr stated on X.
“The only thing left now is for Kaizer Chiefs and Pyramids FC to agree (on) a transfer fee.

The Naturena-based club is expected to face difficulties in signing the DR Congo attacker, as they currently have no foreign qouta left, with Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, Edmilson Dove, Fiacre Ntwari, Christian Saile, and Edson Castillo currently occupying the foreign spots at Naturena.
