Legendary shot-stopper Itumeleng Khune sends a message to former Kaizer Chiefs development starlet Omega Mdaka after the youngster joins Stellenbosch FC.

The 20-year-old signed a long-term deal with the Stellies this past week after more than six months of being clubless after he was released by Kaizer Chiefs back in October last year.

“We are excited to welcome a player of Omega’s potential to the Club,” said Stellenbosch FC Chief Executive Officer, Rob Benadie.
“He has a bright future ahead of him, and I have no doubt that Stellenbosch is the right place for him to develop his talent.”
The South African junior international has received messages from various people across the South African football fraternity, including veteran goalkeeper Khune.
The 37-year-old took to his Instagram story, @itukhune32, to share a message of patience paying off with the youngster.
He shared two messages with the first one, wishing him all the best in his new journey, which the Mdaka replied by thanking him.
“All the best, brother,” Khune stated on his Instagram story.
Mdaka replied by saying,”Ngiyabonga grootman lam.” Which translate to,”Thank you, big brother.”

Meanwhile, in the second message, he dedicated the youngster to a famous song by Afro Pop and Rap musician, Sjava, titled Linda.
The song talks about being patient and waiting for your chance and time because if you don’t wait, you will end up doing things you are not supposed to do.
