FCSB defender Siyabonga Ngezana in line to be named Romanian Superliga Player of the Season.
The former Kaizer Chiefs defender had a brilliant first season in the top tier of Romanian football after completing the move from Amakhosi back in July 2023.

Despite struggling to adapt to life at the club at first, the lanky defender has gone on to become one of the league’s best players leading FCSB to their first league in nine years, their 27th in the club’s history.
His perfomances in the league that saw him play 30 matches and register a single have not gone unnoticed, as he is nominated for Transfermarkt’s Player of the Season award.

The 26-year-old is nominated alongside his teammate, Risto Radunovic, Paul Iacob of FC Rapid Bucharest, Nicuşor Bancu of CS Universitatea Craiova, David Kiki of FCV Farul Constanta, and Andreas Dumistrescu of Sepsi OSK.
