Kaizer Chiefs is likely to loan out six players before the start of the new season, according to the club’s legend.

Amakhosi are set to return to the country after over two of the hard pre-season preparations in Instabul, Turkey, under the watchful eye of the new head coach Nasreddine Nabi.

With the likes of Yusuf Maart, Bruce Bvuma, and Nkosana Mbuthu already back in the country, the club’s technical team led Nabi is said to have made a decision to loan out six players ahead of the new season.
The legendary Douglas Doctor Khumalo revealed on the SABC Sport show, Soccer Zone, while talking about Chiefs’ interest in Asanele Velebayi that the coach is looking to work with younger players and has asked the club to loan out six players with two injured and in South Africa.
“I watched him(Asanele Velebayi) playing ngu(during) COSAFA(Cup) and also some games for Cape Town Spurs. I think based on the information, he is 21 years old if I am not mistaken, and the information that I have got is that the new technical team they really want to work with youth. Probably why they wanted wanted to work with those,” Khumalo stated on Soccer Zone.
“Also, you have seen the names of the players they have asked them(management) to loan them, six of the players.
“It’s not my duty to mention them here, but six of the players the coach asked if they could loan them out, and the two of them are nursing injuries at the moment.
“Where I am also getting confused is that the two is not in Turkey. They are injured. They are injured, they didn’t go there.
“They have stayed because they are injured, and they said it’s better if they go out on loan.”

According to sources close to club, some of the players likely to leave on loan is Cristian Saile to open up a foreign qouta, Tebogo Potsane who is linked with Royal AM, Dillan Solomons, Sabelo Radebe, Happy Mashiane and Wandile Duba.
