Nurkovic is said to have asked for the club to release him at the end of 2023-2024, which the club turned down, leading to the player arriving late for pre-season on purpose.
Less than a week after parting ways with Galaxy, Nurkovic is said to be eyeing a return to the club that brought him to South Africa, Chiefs.
According to The Citizen source, Kokota Piano is eyeing a return to Naturena as he feels he still has unfinished business at the club.
“He still believes that he has unfinished business with Chiefs,” the publication’s source stated.
“He loves the club and their supporters. He would jump at an opportunity to play for Chiefs again.”
