The heavily reported reunion of Orlando Pirates superstar Relebohile Mofokeng and Al-Ettifaq attacker Mohau Nkota in Saudi Arabia is likely to not happen.

Ever since Nkota completed his move from the Buccaneers to the Saudi Pro League side, Al-Ettifaq, his former teammate at Pirates, Mofokeng, has been heavily with a move to the same club.
However, despite the reports of Pirates reaching an agreement with the club for his move, the move seems most unlikely to not happen.
With the SPL allowing clubs to sign ten foreign players with two of them under-21 players, the Saudi side’s completed their foreign quota when they announced the signing of Costa Riccan international Francisco Calvo.
The signing of Calvo means that if the Knight of Ad-Dahna wants to sign the 20-year-old sensation, they need to first get rid of foreign player.
Meanwhile, Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is adamant about keeping the South African international, as he spoke about the value of keeping Mofokeng at the club during the 2025-2026 Betway Premiership launch yesterday.
The Morrocan tactician sees the former School of Excellence protégé, as one of the club’s key players this season, as they pursuit league honours.
