The future of Bafana Bafana International Percy Tau has been some of the most talked-things in the Egyptian football fraternity, as the attacker is in his final one and quarter year of his contract at the club.

Tau’s contract at the Egyptian giants ends at the end of the next campaign, opening up rumours of a possible exit after he allegedly rejected the initial contract extension offer from the club.
With clubs like Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns said to be interested in his signature, the Red Devils are said to have received an offer of around $1 million(R18 million) according to one of the leading publications in Egypt, Cairo24.
However, the site reports that Al Ahly has since rejected the offer and removed Tau from the transfer list, as they are hopeful of reaching an agreement over a new deal.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old returned from injury to help Al Ahly earn a late 2-1 victory after scoring a header two minutes after being introduced in the 82nd minute.

The victory sees Al Ahly move to 63 points after 25 games, five points behind log leaders, Pyramids FC, having played three games less than the log leaders.
