Kaizer Chiefs fan Vennetius Motswi famously known by the name Papa Wawa takes a swipe at Orlando Pirates after the Buccaneers’ defeat to Marumo Gallants.

Speaking to popular fans show, AmaFans Wethu, after his side, Chiefs’ 1-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns, Papa Wawa shared how they tried to help a side that didn’t want to help themselves.
Referring to Pirates that lost 2-0 away in Bloemfontein to Gallants while mathematical being in the title race with Sundowns that is leading the log table with 54 points after 20 matches.
An 18 points over Pirates with the Sea Robbers having four games on hand.
While also taking a swipe at match officials and stating how the match between Chiefs and Sundowns was anyone’s to win.

“What a match which we have experienced today, I welcome the loss with pride,” Papa Wawa told AmaFans Wethu.
“It was anyone’s game today. If you can check, it would have went on any side. The referee was very lenient when it came to Marabastad FC(Sundowns), but we accept the defeat.
While also praising Chiefs for losing with dignity, he also took a swipe at Pirates for losing 4-1 during their last match against Sundowns, and also how they fail to help themselves in their pursuit for league honours.
“We have lost with dignity unlike other teams in the previous games,” he further stated.
“We came here, We Remain Humble Football Club(Pirates) wanted us to do them a favour today(by beating Sundowns), but they go to Bloemfontein today and forgot themselves a favour.
He concluded by also taking a swipe at Pirates fans who attended Chiefs and Sundowns’ match instead of going to Bloemfontein to support their team.
“We were trying to help people who are helpless, do you understand?
“Orlando Pirates was found wanting support there at Bloemfontein Celtic because there are people, the Advocate of Mob Justice was here, the PHD was here. Do you understand?
“I don’t know if there were following the Camera(AmaFans Wethu crew) or whatsoever,” Papa Wawa concluded.
While Sundowns and Pirates are battling for the top honours in the league, Chiefs find itself in eighth position with 25 points after 19 matches, 29 points behind log leaders.
