With the season heading to the end, Sundowns is currently facing an injury crisis, with a number of players currently sidelined with injuries.

Ahead of their Dstv Premiership match against Stellenbosch FC at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town, the Brazilians provided an injury update that showed that one of their players will miss the remainder of the season.
The 26-year-old Morrocan international, Abdelmounaim Boutouil, will miss the rest of the season with a groin injury that he suffered going into the first leg of the CAF Champions League semifinal away at Esperance de Tunis in Tunisia.
Boutouil has since gone under the knife and is currently in stage 1 of rehabilitation.
