Having signed Bafana Bafana international Kobamelo Kodisang from Moreirense on a five-year deal, the Brazilians are close to landing their second signing of the transfer window.

The Brazilians are on the cusp of landing young defender Tiwani from Sekhukhune United, according to Transfermarkt.

Personal terms are close to being agreed, and also, the two clubs are finalising the deal that will see the youngster move to Chloorkop ahead of next season.

“Asekho Tiwani is set to secure a move to Mamelodi Sundowns,” Transfermarkt said.

“Personal terms are being ironed out, and Masandawana and Sekhukhune are said to be finalizing the transfer agreement.”

The 19-year-old left fullback, Tiwani, has been one of the standout performers for Babina Noko this past season scoring once and providing three assists in 16 matches.

The South African youth international is expected to struggle to break through in the first team, as he will be facing challenges from Aubrey Modiba, Divine Lunga, Abdelmounaim Boutouil, and Terrence Mashego for the left fullback position.

The possibility of featuring in the reserve league or going out on loan after joining the club is on the table, as the club sees him as one for the future.
