Mamelodi Sundowns receives a huge double boost ahead of MTN8 semifinal encounter against Stellenbosch FC.

With the Brazilians set to face the Stellies in semis of the MTN8 after a scratchy 1-0 victory over Polokwane City in the quarterfinals, the club received a double boost ahead of the two-legged semifinals.

The duo of new signings Arthur de Oliveira Sales and Iqraam Rayners were spotted in the club’s training facility in Chloorkop in Pretoria this week and have been registered with Premier Soccer League(PSL) for this season.
However, the latter will not be able to face his former club, Stellenbosch, as he is cup-tied, having played in this year’s tournament with Stellies during their 3-1 victory over TS Galaxy earlier this month.
Sundowns will first host the Cape Town-based club at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium on Wednesday, the 28th of August with the kick off set for 7 pm, with the return leg set for Sunday, the 1st of September at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban with kick off set for 3 pm.

In the other semi-final bracket, Orlando Pirates will travel to DHL Stadium on Tuesday, the 27th of August, to play Cape Town City with kick off set for 7 pm, with the return leg at the Orlando Stadium set for the 31st of August with kick off set for 3 pm.
