Mamelodi Sundowns is on the verge of completing the signing of a European-based star ahead of the 2025-2026 Betway Premiership season.

Having completed a dream move to Europe ahead of the 2023-2024 season when he joined the Scottish side, Livingston FC from TS Galaxy, Aphelele Teto, thought he has realised his dream of playing in Europe.
Fast forward two seasons later, the 22-year-old is on the verge of parting ways with the Scottish Premiership a season before his contract ends without making a single competitive appearance for the club.
The stocky winger has struggled to get a work visa in the two seasons he has been at the club, which has forced the club to look to partways with him.
However, Teto is not short of suitors, as he is on the brink of joining the Betway Premiership champions, Sundowns, on a reported free transfer.
He is likely to be joined at Chloorkop by Khulumani Ndamane, who is also on the verge of completing a lucrative move to Sundowns.
But unlike Ndamane, who is expected to be a starter, Teto is more likely to go out on loan with a fellow Pretoria-based club, University of Pretoria FC, the front runners to land his signature.
