However rumours s have been swirling about a potential transfer to Chiefs.
In October last year, Makgalwa joined the Motsepe Foundation Championship club on a free transfer after leaving Sundowns.
His impact was immediate. Scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists, he became a standout player for the team.
City came tantalizingly close to a promotion play-off spot, missing out by just three points.
Since January, rumors have linked Makgalwa to Chiefs.
Speculation intensified, with some reports suggesting that an agreement had already been reached for his transfer at the end of the season.
Enter Ntobatsi Masegela, Makgalwa’s agent. In an interview with KickOff, Masegela addressed the transfer rumors head-on.
He emphasized the importance of considering the coaching situation at Chiefs: “How can I allow Keletso to go? No one even knows who’s gonna coach the club next season. You need to understand who is going to coach the club before you let the player go.”
