Kaizer Chiefs is said to be contemplating to hand 15-year-old starlet a first-team contract after a brilliant season in front of goals.
In the last two seasons, Amakhosi has promoted close to 10 players to first-team from the club’s development more precisely the Dstv Diski Challenge side.
Sabelo Radebe, Mduduzi Shabalala, Wandile Duba, Samkelo Zwane, Mfundo Vilakazi, Aiden McCarthy, and Donay Jansen have all made the step from the Veli Khumalo led team in the reserve team to the first-team recently, as the club continues to rebuild the club.

However, the club seems to not be done in giving the youngsters in the development ranks a chance to shine in the first team, as according to our sources, the club is set to award star striker Neo Bohloko a first-team contract.
“Neo(Bohloko) has been brilliant this season, and he is set to be rewarded like (Mduduzi)Shabalala was rewarded after a brilliant season in the DDC,” the source said.
“Scoring 14 goals despite missing more than matches in the league, and winning two big awards at the club’s award ceremony has just set his career alight.
“Chiefs will table a long-term contract for the youngster like they did with rest, but I don’t expect him to be part of the first team anytime soon.”

The youngsters won the Player of the Season and Top Goal Scorer awards during an award ceremony at Naturena this week after netting 14 goals to finish third in the DDC top scorers charts behind Thabang Mahlangu of SuperSport United(17 goals) and Jody Ahshene of Cape Town City(16 goals) respectively.
