While Supersport was coming to the games at the back of mixed results against their town rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns, last weekend at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
First on the pitch were the under-13s that started the proceedings on a high note with an entertaining six-goal thriller that ended 3 all.
The match was quickly followed by an under-15’s match that also ended all square after the two sides managed to score once each.
The penultimate match of the day saw the host claim the first victory of the day, as the under-17s’ match saw Chiefs’ youngster edge the visitors 2-1 in a tightly contested match.

At the back of an impressive 4-0 victory over Sundowns’ under-19 side last weekend, the visitors were hopeful of producing another impressive victory over log leaders.
However, the Phefeni Glamour Boys’ under-19 side managed to walk away with a 4-2 victory at home to move one step closer to league title in the under-19 GDL division.
The young Chiefs side will next travel to Elandsfontein this upcoming Saturday, the 7th of September, where the under-13, 17, and 19 sides will take on School of Excellence in the next round of GDL.
Meanwhile, the club’s under-15 will also take on School of Excellence’s under-15 side Vosloorus the following day during a Gauteng Development League under-15s festival.
