Toronto FC attacker Cassius Mailula joins the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns duo Thembinkosi Lorch and Themba Zwane, and Kaizer Chiefs attacker Gaston Sirino ahead of the new season.

Mailula spent the 2024-2025 season out on loan at Wydad AC after struggling to cement a place in the first team at his parent club in the Major Soccer League.
His loan spell in Morroco was a rollercoast ride that saw the Casablanca-based club going against making his move permanent at the end of his spell.
The 24-year-old is currently in South Africa contemplating on his next move, as he is guaranteed to be leaving his club thus window.
With an unnamed European club edging closer to securing his signature despite rumours of reunion with Rulani Mokwena in Algeria at MC Alger, the South African international has followed in the footsteps of his former teammates, Lorch, Zwane, and Sirino.
Mailula has acquired the services of celebrity fitness and physical trainer Vusi Hlabangwana to help and prepare for the upcoming season.
Hlabangwana has shared a multiple of videos of the player alongside Lorch going through their paces through intense training sessions.
Meanwhile, his training partner, Lorch, is likely to stop training with Mailula, as the player has been recalled to join Sundowns’ pre-season preparations after his move to Wydad AC collapsed.
