Upon the latter’s arrival for a reported fee of around R46 million the club had five South American players in rank, as he joined Gaston Sirino, Marcelo Allende, Lucas Ribeiro Costa, and Junior Mendieta at the club.

However, just more than seven months after joining his fellow South American at Chloorkop, the 25-year-old is set to return to his Native country of Argentina.

He is expected to join Primiera Division side, Club Athlético Talleres, on a season-long loan with an option to make the deal permanent according to Idiski Times.

He becomes the third South American player to leave Sundowns this window after Junior Mendieta and Gaston Sirino, who have joined Volos NFC and Kaizer Chiefs, respectively.
