Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena has played down the significance of his ongoing feud with TS Galaxy counterpart Sead Ramovic.

The two coaches have been engaged in a war of words for almost the entire season, with each continuously throwing jibes at the other.
The feud between Mokwena and Ramovic has been escalating since their teams’ Carling Knockout Cup clash late last year.
Ramovic accused Mokwena of lying about a personal phone call, and Mokwena accused Galaxy’s technical team of encouraging players to injure Bongani Zungu.
Ramovic’s latest comment, stating he doesn’t need attention because he played at the highest level, reignited the feud.
Mokwena dismissed the suggestion that the feud is one of his lows, comparing Ramovic to a “fruitless tree”.
When asked about his highs and lows of the 2023/24 season, Mokwena told journalists, “I’m going to reflect on that at the end of the season. I don’t know. Definitely my low is not the broil with the ‘other guy’ [Ramovic]. I told you about fruitless trees, there is no shade there.”
Mokwena’s response indicates that he doesn’t consider the feud a significant issue, despite the heated exchanges between the two coaches.
The two sides went on to play an entertaining drama filled 1-1 draw at Mbombela Stadium in a Dstv Premiership encounter.
With Sundowns star striker Peter Shalulile scoring the equaliser in the 85th minute, seven minutes after Puso Dithejane gave the home side the lead.
After the game, the clubs were involved in a heated feud that had to be stopped by the Police.
