Mamelodi Sundowns is believed to have identified a Betway Premiership player as a possible Khuliso Mudau’s replacement.

Mudau has been involved in a contractual saga with the club that has seen the South African international go awol on the club since the beginning of the current season.
With the 31-year-old in his final year of his contract and the club thin in the right fullback position, the club is looking to bolster the position as confirmed by head coach Miguel Cardoso after 2-0 victory over Magesi this past Wednesday.
Injured Polokwane City right fullback Thabang Matuludi is seen as one of possible Khuliso Mudau’s replacements should the former Black Leopards fullback not reach an agreement with the club over a new contract.
However, Matuludi will not instantly solve Sundowns’ problems in the right back position should they sign him, as he has been out with an injury since January this year.
His return to action is still unknown, as he was supposed to have returned to action before the end of last season, but he is currently heading into an eighth month on the sidelines.
