Kaizer Chiefs receives three major boosts for their 2025-2026 Betway Premiership heavyweight clash against Mamelodi Sundowns next week.

Amakhosi has only managed to hand out three debuts despite signing nine players due to various reasons such illness, fitness issues, and awaiting international clearance.
After another victory in the league this season, Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef revealed why the trio of Ethan Chislett, Nkanyiso Shinga, and Flàvio Silva haven’t been able to make debuts and when they could possibly make their debuts for the club.
Speaking to the media, Ben Youssef revealed that the trio is likely to play against Sundowns next week.
Ben Youssef told the media that Shinga has received his playing card but is working on his fitness with the club’s Strength and Conditioning Coach Madji Safi.
Whereas, Flàvio received his card a day before Chiefs played Richards Bay and the coaching decided against playing him, while Chislett is out with illness and missed the club’s last two matches because of illness.
The Naturena-based club will welcome the Brazilians at FNB Stadium on Wednesday, the 27th of August, with kick-off set for 7h30 pm South African time.
