Two more players leave Mamelodi Sundowns, as the tally of the players that have left the club, this transfer window rises to 15.

Having already seen the likes of Sipho Mbule, Rivaldo Coetzee, Lebohang Maboe, Thabang Sibanyoni, and eight other players leave the club, the Brazilians were expected to show more players the exit doors.

Earlier today, the Greek Super League club, AE Kifisia, announced the signing of Matias Esquivel from Sundowns on a season-long loan deal, which has an option to make the move permanent should the 26-year-old diminutive attacker impress.

He was later followed by the Chloorkop-based side announcing the departure of Thembinkosi Lorch after two seasons at the club having joined from arch-rivals Orlando Pirates.

Lorch will rejoin Wydad Athletic Club on a one-year deal with an option for a further year after impressing during his loan stint in the second half of the 2024-2025 season.

The duo are expected to be followed out of the club by the 2025 PSL Players’ Player and Footballer of the Season Lucas Ribeiro Costa.

Ribiero is reported to have joined Qatari based club, Qatar SC, for a fee rumoured to be around $3 million(approximately R53.27 million).
