Mamelodi Sundowns legend Hlompho Kekana reacts to how his former side’s players should be handling themselves, as the club faces transfer debacles.

In the last two seasons, the club has seen top players like Teboho Mokoena, Khuliso Mudau, Peter Shalulile, Lucas Ribeiro Costa, Grant Kekana, Kutlwano Letlhaku, Thembinkosi Lorch, and Thapelo Maseko at odds with the club either because of contract disputes or transfer issues.
The players mostly show discontent of how the club handle their situations, as most of them end up asking to leave the club or try to force a move away from Chloorkop.
With pressure mounting on the Brazilians hierarchy, the club’s former captain, Kekana, came to the defence of the club asking players to look at other aspects before trying to get things their way.
“I think it has to come from the player and the club ,” Hlompho Kekana stated on Soccerzone.
“How they communicate in this thing, Because sometimes I can just hear a rumour about me [being] wanted somewhere.
“I need to just go to the club and tell them this is what the offer says, and then let’s make sense from that.
“I can not just go out and be you know.. the team wants me from overseas, and I start saying I wanna go.
“I need to understand that I still have a contract and there is still a lot of investment on my services.”
