Democratic Republic of Congo international Karim Kimvuidi resurfaces in Europe after quickly leaving Orlando Pirates.

The 23-year-old was part of Orlando Pirates’ pre-season camp in Spain, where he played two matches and was expected to fight for his place in the squad under new head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.
However, the former now-defunct Maritzburg United middlefielder secretly completed a move to Israel top division side of Ashdod SC, as either club announced his transfer to Israel.
While his transfer to the club is still not known whether it is permanent or not, but he was given his debut on Saturday against Hapoel Tel Aviv in the last round of the Israeli League Cup Group phase.
He was, unfortunately, on the wrong side of the scoresheet, as his side suffered a 2-0 defeat to end Group B with one point after four matches.
Meanwhile, Hapoel Tel Aviv progress to the semis as Group B winners, and they will next face Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the Semis after they finished second in Group A behind Maccabi Haifa.
