Kaizer Chiefs’ goalkeeper Bontle Molefe edges closer to returning to full training after missing the whole of last season through an injury.

The 22-year-old was expected to challenge for the number one spot at the club last season due to the incosistency between the posts from Fiacre Ntwari, Brandon Petersen, and Bruce Bvuma.
However, Molefe missed the entire season due to a back injury that he suffered during the club’s pre-season camp in Turkey ahead of last season.
He was forced to have surgery to correct slipped discs in his back while also addressing issues he had with his spinal cord.
After a long and hard rehabilitation phase, the club’s development graduate is nearing a return to full training after sharing a video clip of his workout.
He took to his Tik Tok account, @bontlemolefe16, to share a video clip of himself in a gym at the club’s headquarters in Naturena, which he captioned “I am coming.”.
His return will provide him with an opportunity to fight for the number one spot at the club that has been opened for the taking since the club parted ways with experienced shot-stopper Itumeleng Khune.
Meanwhile, it remains unclear when the South African junior international will return to full training, but his return is near.
