Veteran Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango opens up about the club’s preparations for Nedbank Cup quarterfinal clash against Sekhukhune United this Friday.

The Brazilians were supposed to take on Babina Noko at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium three weeks ago, but the match was postponed due to the venue being double booked.
With Sundowns having a tight schedule that will the club play every three days until the end of the season, Onyango shared how the club is preparing for their rescheduled clash this Friday.

Denis Onyango On Sekhukhune United Nedbank Cup Quarterfinal Clash
“The preparations going into the Nedbank Cup (quarterfinal clash against Sekhukhune United) are going well,” Onyango stated.
“Of course, we would have loved to play(ed a) couple of weeks back, (but) the game was postponed.
“We were in camp, we slept there, and you know how it is when you prepare for the game.
“But we are looking forward to the game once again, even though some guys were at the national team. They will come in and join us for just a few days.
“We have no choice. We have to play because we have a lot of games that we have to play in terms of the league, the Champions League, and, of course, the Nedbank Cup.
“The guys are looking forward (to the match), everyone who is given the opportunity (to play) has to give his best because we are all here to play.
“And for me, I think the game on Friday will give us one more game before we play the Champions League game against Esperance on Tuesday, but so far, so good and we are looking forward it.”
The Brazilians will welcome Babina Noko at Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium this upcoming Friday, with kick-off set for 7h30 pm South African time.
