Kaizer Chiefs makes a decision on underfire head coach Nasreddine Nabi’s future, as the club continues to struggle to return the glory days.

After in consistent run that sees Amakhosi in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup while occupying 8th position in the Betway Premiership, the club has made a decision on Nasreddine Nabi’s future.
Speaking to FarPost, after the club reportedly held talks with the Tunisian tactician over the inconsistent results, the club’s Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung, revealed that the club is backing Nabi to succeed.

Motaung also revealed that they are prepared to be patient with the coach, and also, they are learning, as time goes on and that they need the club’s faithful to keep on being behind the team.
“I think all I can say is we have a technical team, we have a coach, they are doing the work, and they have the support to do the work,” Motaung told FarPost.
“We obviously know that this is a long game. We didn’t get into this thinking we’d have quick results. But certainly, I think the lessons are there. The analysis is there.
“The football team is working well with the coaches to ensure that things that must be addressed are addressed.
“And my encouragement to the supporters is to support the team and ensure we make it to the finish line for the season.
“But there is a lot of learning and a need for more consistency. And there is work behind the scenes to ensure that is done.”
