Two North African clubs are said to be interested in Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro, who is in his final three months of his contract at Houghton.

The Spaniard tactician’s future at Pirates is uncertain as there is no indication of what will happen beyond his current deal that expires at the end of June this year.
His uncertainty at the club has opened doors to several clubs across the globe that include clubs from the northern side of Africa.

According to one of the leading journalists on South African football fraternity, Austin Ditlhobolo, Morrocan giants Raja Casablanca and Tunisian side Esperance Sportive de Tunis are interested in signing the serial cup specialist.
“Soon-to-be-out-of-contract Jose Riveiro has admirers in North Africa,” Dithlobolo stated.
“Raja Casablanca & Esperance de Tunis are some of the Arab clubs keeping tabs on the Orlando Pirates head coach.
“Interest in the cup specialist could intensify should Bucs continue to impress in this season’s CAF Champions League.”
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers faithful are hopeful that Riveiro will continue his stay at the club after winning five trophies in two-and-a-half seasons he has been at the club.
However, should he decide to leave the club, former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana head coach Pitso Mosimane is tipped to take over as the head coach.
