Mamelodi Sundowns striker attracts interest from North African clubs and Betway Premiership club AmaZulu FC.

The Sundowns striker, Etiosa Ighodaro, joined the Brazilians back in July 2021 from a Nigerian club Abuja College and has since been sent out to various clubs on loan.
He is currently at Usuthu, where he joined the club on a season-long loan deal from the Brazilians, and has impressed AmaZulu’s hierarchy who are looking to make his deal permanent according to the player’s agent, Mohammed Lawal.

Speaking to FarPost, Lawal said that his client will return to his parent club at the end of the season, and there his future will be decided.
But there are interests from AmaZulu and unnamed North African clubs.
“He is on loan, so obviously, as usual, with every player who’s on loan, at the end of the spell, he returns to his parent club,” Lawal told FarPost.
“That’s where we are, but with that said, there’s a lot of interest in him.
“AmaZulu are keen also to keep him, and there are teams who are also interested.
“The strong interest is in Africa with the North African teams.”
Despite all the rumours and interests surrounding the 23-year-old striker, he is expected to be handed his chance at the club to prove himself after countless loan spells away from the club.
