European and French giants are believed to have shown an interest in signing Mamelodi Sundowns star attacker Lucas Ribeiro Costa.
The Brazilian has been one of the standout performers in the South African football fraternity since he joined Sundowns back in July 2023 from a Belgian club, SK Beveren.
In the one-and-half seasons, he has been at Chloorkop, the attacker has registered over 60 goal contributions attracting interest from big clubs across the globe.

According to Soccer Laduma, French club LOSC Lille has inquired about the possibility of signing the 26-year-old attacker who is targeted by various big clubs across the world.
“This is new interest. There are Lille representatives who have enquired about him,” the publication states.
“They have shown serious interest in Ribeiro, and the team(Mamelodi Sundowns) can not avoid that.
“But you know there are other clubs who have shown interest before, and the club is just waiting to hear from all those teams on a way forward.”
Meanwhile, Ribeiro is in the front running to be named the best player in the country this season, as his performances have been nothing short of superb this season.
And have also been backed by his goal-contributions that keep going up with each passing match.
