The Brazilians beat Amakhosi in an exhilarating Gauteng Development League Top 8 Under-15 final in Johannesburg.

Both sides went on the final at the back of an impressive semifinal display against SAFA Transnet School of Excellence and TUKS on Saturday.
Sundowns managed to beat the School of Excellence 5-2 while Chiefs comfortably beat the University of Pretoria based side 2-0 to set up a rematch of GDL league match that was played at Naturena a week ago.

Like in their last meeting at Chiefs’ Village, where the match ended 2-1 in favour of the visitors, Sundowns walked away with a victory and defended the title they won last season as well.
Bayanda Ndlovu earlier in the first half gave Sundowns the lead, which was cancelled by Chiefs starlet attacker Tsheamo Mosana late in the half.
Both sides had clear cut chances in the second to win the match but failed to convert them, leading to the match to be decided by penalty shootouts.
Masandawana scored all their five penalties while Chiefs missed their third, to hand the defending champions a 5-3 victory on penalties after the match ended 1-1 in regular time.
