The former Cape Town City FC defender raptured his Achilles Tendon during the club’s pre-season camp in Turkey ahead of the current season.
Leading to the club to not register him for the first half of the season, as he was expected to miss the whole season.
But with the ordeal over and the player back into the field of play, Dove shared his experience and how happy he is to return.
“It hasn’t been an easy journey, but, by the grace of God, I am running again,” Dove told the club’s website.
“I want to thank the doctors and express my gratitude to the club for all the resources that were put at my disposal to help me recover as soon as possible.
“I also deeply appreciate the support from my teammates and the technical staff. It has really helped me a lot.”
The 31-year-old is expected to start for the club in the troublesome left-back position after the club was able to register him when Thatayaone Ditlhokwe joined Al Ittihad.
