The outspoken Manara took an opportunity to take a swipe at Amakhosi after 4-0 victory for Yanga in the Toyota Cup this past weekend, stating that the Chiefs was lucky to have not been beaten by eight goals.

“We have set the standard already; Kaizer Chiefs will not even dream about playing us. In fact, they will not invite Yanga SC again,” Manara stated.

“I believe if we could have taken all the chances, then we could have won by eight goals. The standards have been set by the management, and now the fans should fill stadiums.”
