After a good season away in the Cape, the 24-year-old is set for another loan spell away from Chloorkop, as according to FarPost, the former South African youth international completed his medical on Monday before signing on the dotted line.

“The loan deal was finalised after Phewa successfully completed his medical with AmaZulu on Monday,” FarPost stated.

Usuthu beats both Spurs and Sekhukhune United to the signing of Phewa, as the two clubs were looking at a possibility of signing him on a permanent deal.

Meanwhile, Phewa is expected to join by his Sundowns teammate, Etiosa Godspower Ighodaro, who is expected to finalize his loan move to KwaZulu-Natal before the end of this week.
