Mamelodi Sundowns players and fans pay homage to club captain and legend Themba Zwane after 1-0 victory over Sekhukhune United on Friday, the 28th of March 2025.

Having missed over six months of action after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament(ACL) injury back in September 2024 during a 2025 AFCON qualifier against Uganda, Zwane has been given green light by Sundowns doctors to return to action.
Despite being given the green light ahead of the Nedbank Cup quarterfinal clash against Sekhukhune United on Friday night, the 35-year-old was not named in the matchday squad.
However, his presence was felt during and after the match, as both his teammates and fans paid homage to the veteran middlefielder.
