Orlando Pirates star attacker sends a message to Kaizer Chiefs starlet Mfundo Vilakazi after the latter’s winner against Marumo Gallants.

Mfundo Vilakazi was introduced into the match in the 60th minute for Christian Saile with the score tied one all after Mduduzi Shabalala cancelled Sekela Sithole’s strike for Gallants early in the first half.
With Amakhosi on the forefront, dominating the match after Gallants defender and former Chiefs player Joseph Malongoane received a straight red card in the 76th minute after bringing down Wandile Duba outside the hosts’ penalty box, Vilakazi clinched the victory for the visitors.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns star attacker Gaston Sirino received a pass from a fellow new signing Bradley Cross before unleashing a defence splitting pass to Duba on the left flank.
Duba quickly composed himself and sent a pass to his on-rushing captain, Yusuf Maart, who in turn skipped over the ball and left it to Vilakazi, who calmly slotted the ball past Daniel Akpeyi in Gallants goals to hand Chiefs a 2-1 victory and three points on the day.
After his expertly struck winner, Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa took to his Instagram story, @zakhelelepasa, to share how proud he is of the 18-year-old Chiefs attacker.
“Proud of this young man,” Lepasa stated on his Instagram story.
“The world is not ready to witness your greatness.
“@mfundo_vilakazi_12, the hood is proud of you!”
Meanwhile, Chiefs’ head coach Nasreddine Nabi reiterated the importance of the youngster to his side this season and going forward.
The Tunisian tactician expects the South African junior international to continue his good start to the season.
