“First of all, congrats to Sundowns for the three points, I feel frustrated for my players, for the fans, for everyone supporting Kaizer Chiefs today,” Nasreddine Nabi stated.
“We feel we had a strong performance that could have given us something better than what we go, but that is football, and we have to accept it.”
The Tunisian tactician further went on to share his thoughts on the three defeats he suffered against the Brazilians this season.
“If you compare the three game we played, the first game if it wasn’t for referee mistakes we don’t lose, the second for the cup it was a completly off day for us, we were outclassed in every way,” Nabi further stated.
“We feel it was bad luck to lose after the performance, but we have to put the three games in context.
“It’s a team that hasn’t won a cup in ten years and a team who has won seven league titles in a row and top of African football and the other team in the process of building itself.
“I feel the players feel the prestige of the name. Even if you look at the log, there’s a big difference, but on the field, you couldn’t tell.
“Today the difference in terms of points in the league, it was not reflected on the field, we are on a good way for better outcomes in the future.”
