Ahead of what is expected to be a busy season for the Brazilians, Maema decided to join a long-list of his fellow Premier Soccer League and Sundowns players in marrying their long time girlfriends.

The 28-year-old shared images and video clips of his special day alongside his new wife, Tsholofelo Phoko, on Saturday, the 24th of August, on his Instagram story, @neomaema_.

The couple had a private traditional wedding in their home province of Free State, where close friends and family were invited.

He joins his teammates like Reyaad Pieterse, Ronwen Williams, and Mothobi Mvala in leaving the streets and becoming a husband.

Meanwhile, the former Bloemfontein Celtic attacker is expected to battle for a playing spot at Chloorkop this season alongside the likes of Themba Zwane, Thembinkosi Lorch, Tashreeq Matthews, and Kobamelo Kodisang to name a few.

The club’s next match is this upcoming Wednesday, the 28th of August, at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville against Stellenbosch FC in the first leg of the MTN8 semifinal.

The return leg is on Sunday, the 2nd of September, in Durban(Moses Mabhida Stadium).
